In recent times BAYFashion has been accused of bad-business sense by a host of competitors and other fashion websites as we are still completely free for readers. They accusations tend to focus on the fact that BAYFashion has still not tried to gain commercial advantage of its popularity.
However, the team at BAYFashion firmly believes that the key to success and building a successful platform to connect the bay area fashion consumers to the indie designers is to count the number of readers and followers in place of the number of dollars earned. If BAYFashion is able to provide value to the designers, the business will surely attract advertisers and generate revenue from advertisement in place of commercial access costs to the magazine.
