Boditecture: Fashion For Hope

The impact fashion is capable of making has often been overlooked. The Fashion for Hope event was a testament to this ability. It was here that Boditecture presented their collection to aid the the orphanage brought to attention by the documentary, “Marathon Boy”. “Marathon Boy,” directed by Geena Atwal, follows the story of a young orphan with an affinity for running who is rescued and mentored by a judo instructor in the Indian state of Orissa. The boy goes on to run marathons which sparks media attention and unfolds a story of the depth and darkness of human nature. As a stark contrast, the underlying philanthropy with which Fashion for Hope was created conveyed a sense of positivity and beauty mirrored by the breathtaking collection.
